The New Caney Eagles volleyball team (New Caney, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Porter Spartans (Porter, TX)

The Spartans (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Clear Falls (League City, TX). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Clear Falls was dropped by Dawson (Pearland, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 18. New Caney will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Memorial (Houston, TX).
