The Oak Ridge Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Powell Panthers to 0 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West for a AAA District 3 game on Thursday, August 18. Oak Ridge will meet a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 league win over Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN). The Cougars enter the AAA District 3 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Campbell County was dropped by Clinton (Clinton, TN), 3-0, in a league game.
