The Brentwood War Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Lake Oconee Academy Titans to 3 in the War Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Brentwood improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The War Eagles travel to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a GIAA 2AA game on Thursday, August 17. The Buccaneers come into the game with a record of 4-2. Briarwood Academy won 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 19. Lake Oconee Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 6-2 non-league win over First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA).
