Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Harrison for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 17. Campbell will battle a Hoyas squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Hoyas record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Kennesaw Mountain falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Etowah (Woodstock, GA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 17. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Etowah won 11-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Campbell (Smyrna, GA)
