The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Scotland went down by West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Tornadoes encounter the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 21. Fairmont will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC).
