In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Jackson City Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the June Buchanan Crusaders.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Owsley County (Booneville, KY). The Owls / Lady Owls come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Owsley County was edged by Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Crusaders battle the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 22. June Buchanan will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
