The Torrance Tartars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits to 2 in the Tartars non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Tartars now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancho Cucamonga for a non-league game on Saturday, August 19. Torrance will meet a Cougars team coming off a 2-2 non-league Glendora (Glendora, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.

The Jackrabbits (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA). The Wolverines enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Harvard-Westlake was nudged by Chaminade (West Hills, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
