The McCurtain Bulldogs softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Clayton Bulldogs to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Valley for a Class B battle on Monday, August 19. McCurtain will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Antlers (Antlers, OK). The Buffaloes record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Clayton moves to 0-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Leflore (Leflore, OK) to confront the Savages in a non-league battle on Monday, August 19. The Savages come into the battle with a record of 4-4. Leflore lost 7-6 in their recent non-league battle against Heavener (Heavener, OK)
