The Porum Panthers softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Gore Pirates to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gans for a Class A battle on Monday, August 19. Porum will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to McCurtain (McCurtain, OK). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Gore moves to 1-1 on the season. The Pirates host Cameron (Cameron, OK) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Monday, August 19. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 1-4. Cameron won 12-4 in their recent league battle against Indianola (Indianola, OK)
