Oklahoma High School Softball - Varnum knocked off by Mason

The Mason Eagles overwhelmed the visiting Varnum Whippets softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Macomb Hornets (Macomb, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 17. Mason will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 8-2 league win over New Lima (New Lima, OK).

The Whippets (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK). The Wildcats go into the Class B challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Earlsboro toppled Sasakwa (Sasakwa, OK), 16-1, in a league challenge.
