South Carolina High School Volleyball - Aiken tips May River

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the May River Sharks .

The Fighting Green Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Union County (Union, SC). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Sharks meet the Gaston Day Spartans (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 16. May River will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC).
