In their next game, the Vaqueros face the Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 18. Rancho Alamitos will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA).

The Argonauts (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tustin (Tustin, CA). The Tillers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Tustin was nipped by El Modena (Orange, CA), 45-7, in a non-league test.
