Alaska High School Flag Football - South Anchorage falls to West Anchorage

August 16, 2025: Anchorage, AK 99516

The West Anchorage Eagles felled the host South Anchorage Wolverines flag football team by a score of 18-6 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) in a Cook Inlet test, on Tuesday, August 19. West Anchorage will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 7-0 league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK).

With the defeat, South Anchorage drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to face the Mustangs in a Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Chugiak won 28-0 in their recent league challenge against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)

West Anchorage
