In Saturday's non-league contest, the Mintz Christian Academy Lions (Roseboro, NC) soccer team routed the visiting Liberty Christian Academy Knights (Fayetteville, NC), by a count of 8-4.
Next, the Lions battle the Antioch Christian Academy Gators (Lumberton, NC) in a CCAA contest, on Tuesday, August 19. Mintz Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.
With the loss, Liberty Christian Academy moves to 0-3 on the year. The Knights host Christ the Cornerstone Academy (Laurinburg, NC) to encounter the Defenders in a CCAA challenge on Friday, August 29. The Defenders go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
