Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) and the host Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN), saw Southwestern's soccer squad triumph over Shoals by a count of 11-2.
The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Trinity Lutheran achieved victory over Jennings County (North Vernon, IN), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Jug Rox now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington Catholic for a Blue Chip outing on Tuesday, August 19. Shoals will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Brown County (Nashville, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.
