In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Blanchard Lions softball team scored a tight 4-1 win over the Tuttle Tigers.

The Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Weatherford (Weatherford, OK). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Weatherford edged Chisholm (Enid, OK), 6-5, in a non-league game.

The Tigers now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Purcell for a non-league game on Monday, August 18. Tuttle will play a Dragons squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Tahlequah (Tahlequah, OK). The Dragons record now stands at 1-4.
