In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Plainview Indians softball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Cache Bulldogs.

The Indians (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK). The Longhorns go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record.

The Bulldogs now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Bethany for a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. Cache will play a Bronchos squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Edmond Santa Fe (Edmond, OK). The Bronchos record now stands at 1-2.
