The Stillwater Pioneers softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Carl Albert Titans to 5 in the Pioneers non-league win on Saturday.

The Pioneers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edmond Santa Fe for a 6A District 1 battle on Tuesday, August 19. Stillwater will confront a Wolves team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Chisholm (Enid, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Carl Albert moves to 4-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Newcastle (Newcastle, OK) to meet the Racers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Racers go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Newcastle won 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK)
