In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Sequoyah Eagles softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Catoosa Indians.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Bulldoggers come into the 4A District 7 match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Dewey by Claremore (Claremore, OK), 3-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Skiatook Bulldogs (Skiatook, OK) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 18. Catoosa will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Bristow (Bristow, OK).
