The Coahulla Creek Colts softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Christian Heritage Lions to 5 in the Colts non-league win on Saturday.

The Colts now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmer for a non-league battle on Monday, August 18. Coahulla Creek will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 8-3 league loss to Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Christian Heritage moves to 0-3 on the season. The Lions host Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to meet the Indians in a 1A D-I Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Chattooga lost 11-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA)
