Spectators at Saturday's non-league contest between the Woodland Cougars (Fairfax, OK) and the host Olive Wildcats (Drumright, OK), saw Woodland's softball squad topple Olive by a score of 11-3.

With the triumph, Woodland improves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Cougars host Glencoe (Glencoe, OK) to face the Panthers in a non-league contest on Monday, August 18. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 0-3.

The Wildcats now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Davenport for a non-league bout on Monday, August 18. Olive will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Bethel (Shawnee, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
