Mississippi High School Volleyball - Alcorn Central Walnut

Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kossuth (Kossuth, MS). The Aggies come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Kossuth gained a win over Ripley (Ripley, MS), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Bears now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kossuth for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Alcorn Central will face a Aggies squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Ripley (Ripley, MS). The Aggies record now stands at 6-1.
