Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Altus Bulldogs (Altus, OK), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mavericks (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Henrietta (Henrietta, TX). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Henrietta beat Quanah (Quanah, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Del City Eagles (Del City, OK) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 25. Altus will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
