The Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS) volleyball overcame the visiting Petal Panthers (Petal, MS), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Indians (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Petal (Petal, MS). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Petal was knocked off by Poplarville (Poplarville, MS), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 16. Petal will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS).
