California High School Volleyball - Coronado over Bishop's

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) and the host Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA), observed Coronado's volleyball team top Bishop's by a tally of 2-0.

The Islanders (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Pointers enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Point Loma was beaten by Bishop's (La Jolla, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots (San Diego, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 19. Bishop's will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Pilots enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Olympian (Chula Vista, CA).
