Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Columbia, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cardinal Newman improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to face the Landsharks in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Landsharks go into the test with a record of 0-0.
Next, the Gators meet the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. River Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
