In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Carter-Riverside Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Western Hills Cougars.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Young Women's Leadership Academy (Fort Worth, TX). The Lady Owls come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Young Women's Leadership Academy edged Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars face the Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Western Hills will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
