In Saturday's non-league bout, the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs (Thermal, CA) volleyball team knocked off the host Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA), by a margin of 2-0.

The Mighty Arabs now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Palm Springs for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16. Coachella Valley will clash with a Indians team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA). The Indians record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Cathedral City drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Desert Christian Academy (Bermuda Dunes, CA) to clash with the Conquerors in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 19. The Conquerors enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
