With the win, Claremore improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Zebras travel to MacArthur (Lawton, OK) to meet the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. MacArthur won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Duncan (Duncan, OK)

Next, the Chieftains meet the Owasso Rams (Owasso, OK) in a Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Sapulpa will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK).
