Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX) and the visiting Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX), observed Conroe's volleyball team hold off Coldspring-Oakhurst by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Cavaliers enter the 6A Region II District 13 battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, College Park was edged by Aledo (Aledo, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Trojans now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepherd for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. Coldspring-Oakhurst will meet a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Normangee (Normangee, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.
