The Crockett Cougars edged the host Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Cougars now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lehman for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. Crockett will play a Lobos team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to McCallum (Austin, TX) to play the Knights in a 5A Region III District 24 outing on Friday, September 12. The Knights enter the game with a record of 7-4.
