Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Troopers (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Midlothian beat Canyon (Canyon, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Royals face the Kennedale Wildcats (Kennedale, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 21. Richland will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX).
