The Statesboro Blue Devils prevailed the host Evans Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 21. Statesboro will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Toombs County (Lyons, GA).

With the loss, Evans drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA) to clash with the Saints in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16.
