The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Montgomery (Montgomery, TX). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Montgomery was nudged by V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the Teague Lions (Teague, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, August 19. Madisonville will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX).
