In Saturday's non-league match, the Jordan Warriors (Fulshear, TX) volleyball squad tipped the host Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Tompkins Falcons (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 match, on Tuesday, August 19. Jordan will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 8-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX).
The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Rams enter the 6A Region III District 19 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Mayde Creek held off Cypress Falls (Houston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league match.
