Texas High School Volleyball - Marshall can't hold off Lamar

August 16, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78240

In Saturday's non-league match, the Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX) volleyball squad tipped the host Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Vikings clash with the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 16. Lamar will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record.

With the loss, Marshall drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Taft (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, August 19. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Taft won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Madison (San Antonio, TX)
