North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Stanly McMichael

In Saturday's non-league match, the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) volleyball squad overcame the host North Stanly Comets (New London, NC), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Phoenix battle the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 19. McMichael will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Nighthawks enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC).

The Comets (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, East Rowan dropped by Carrboro (Carrboro, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
