Oakwood Christian Eagles (Chickamauga, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Praise Academy Lions (Powder Springs, GA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA). The Pumas come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Dalton Academy was nudged by Darlington (Rome, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Hearts Academy Panthers (Powder Springs, GA) in a GAPPS DI-AA Region 1 challenge, on Monday, August 18. Praise Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Unity Christian (Rome, GA).
