In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Young Women's Leadership Academy Lady Owls volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Polytechnic Parrots.

With the win, Young Women's Leadership Academy improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Lady Owls travel to Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-5. Carter-Riverside won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX)

Next, the Parrots meet the Southwest Raiders (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Polytechnic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
