Mississippi High School Volleyball - Purvis over St. Patrick

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Purvis Tornadoes volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the St. Patrick Fighting Irish.

With the win, Purvis upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS) to meet the Crescents in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Crescents come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Our Lady Academy won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Tylertown (Tylertown, MS)

Next, the Fighting Irish meet the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) in a Class 3A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. St. Patrick will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gautier (Gautier, MS).
