Texas High School Volleyball - Shallowater over Trinity Christian

Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX) and the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX), saw Shallowater's volleyball squad notch a victory over Trinity Christian by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Shallowater improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Friona (Friona, TX) to encounter the Chieftans in a non-league battle on Monday, August 18. The Chieftans go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Friona lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Idalou (Idalou, TX)

Next, the Lions meet the All Saints Saints (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 contest, on Tuesday, August 19. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
