Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) and the host Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS), observed Warren Central's volleyball team top Vicksburg by a tally of 2-0.

The Vikings (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pearl (Pearl, MS). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Pearl was beaten by Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS), 3-0, in a league test.

The Gators now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Gibson for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. Vicksburg will encounter a Blue Waves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Blue Waves record now stands at 1-3.
