The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Stansbury Stallions (Stansbury Park, UT) and the host Payson Lions (Payson, UT), saw Stansbury's soccer squad triumph over Payson by a count of 6-0.
The Stallions now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Hillcrest for a 5A Region 7 test on Monday, August 22. Stansbury will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT). The Huskies record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Payson drops to 1-5 on the season. The Lions host Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT) to meet the Colts in a 5A Region 7 test on Monday, August 22. The Colts come into the test with a record of 0-5. Cottonwood lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Tooele (Tooele, UT)
