The Wake Forest Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Clayton Comets to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a non-league game on Thursday, August 18.
The Comets (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Heritage nipped Cary (Cary, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
