With the win, North Davidson upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Black Knights travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 18. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-0. South Rowan won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC)

The Golden Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Grove for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 18. East Davidson will play a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
