The Washington County Golden Hawks volleyball team (Sandersville, GA), went down 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA)

The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Piedmont Academy went down by Social Circle (Social Circle, GA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Hawks encounter the Davidson Fine Arts (Augusta, GA) in a AA/A - Area 2 Public challenge, on Thursday, August 18. Washington County will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Johnson (Augusta, GA).
