The Heard County Braves volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Pike County Pirates to 0 in the Braves non-league victory on Thursday.

The Braves now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pike County for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29.

The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Creekside Christian Academy gained a win over Peachtree Academy (Covington, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
