The West Iredell Warriors held off the visiting North Stokes Vikings volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alexander Central for a non-league test on Monday, August 21. West Iredell will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
