Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Packers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bainbridge for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. Colquitt County will battle a Bearcats squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Berrien falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host Sumter County (Americus, GA) to battle the Panthers in a 2A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, August 22. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Sumter County won 19-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Monroe (Albany, GA)
