Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Centennial Knights (Roswell, GA), 9-1 in a league challenge.

The Longhorns now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chattahoochee for a 5A Region 6 challenge on Wednesday, August 23. Kell will face a Cougars squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Centennial falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to West Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 18. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. West Forsyth won 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)
